Olivier is an entrepreneur at heart. While still in business school at HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales) in 1999, he created a company building websites for French clients while producing them with his offshore engineering team based in Romania. Like many young eager entrepreneurs, he thought of dropping out but instead he convinced the school to adapt its existing curriculum. The new major HEC Entrepreneurs Start-up was born, with Olivier among his first graduates.
Olivier’s company took full advantage of the rising interest in digital advertising and became Europe’s leading independent digital agency Plan Net.
In 2007 he convinced Serviceplan - now the biggest owner-managed ad agency in the world - to buy a minority stake in his capital. He then developed Plan Net into a full-service agency, delivering best-in-class digital solutions combining data, media, IT and marketing.
While at Plan Net, he bought 3 companies and integrated them into the group. He served as a Board Member of Plan.Net International, and later sold his shares to Serviceplan.
Today Plan Net has around 1,100 employees generating annual revenues of more than €120m in 25 locations around the globe.
Olivier is now a seed capital investor and a mentor for founders in various sectors (e.g. finance, software, marketplace, food, cosmetics).
